Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sometimes you just need something a little sweet! Here is a recipe that uses maple syrup instead of processed sugar.


  • 1 cup almond butter (smooth, unsalted)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup of chopped dark chocolate


  1. In a bowl mix together almond butter, 1 egg, maple syrup/honey, vanilla, baking soda and chocolate chips. Scoop golf ball sized cookie dough onto a cookie sheet and bake.

Preparation time: 5 minute(s)

Cooking time: 10 minutes for chewy, up to 15 minutes for crispy cookies (baking times for room temp almond butter)
